Photographing Wolves

For those of you who know me well, you know that I spend a lot of time at Haliburton Forest, and the Wolf Centre.  I invest a lot of time in watching and photographing the wolves, because you really never know what is going to happen.  Wolves being a wild creature of nature can go from sleeping one moment, to playful the next.  The wolves are a joy to watch, and I have learned so much about wolves in the past 9 years of photographing them.  This image was of Manitou who died several years ago now, but he will always be one of my favourite.  I was inspired by a photograph I saw of a wolf close-up on the cover of B&W magazine.  I had to come up with my own version, and Manitou was the perfect subject.  Buy your own fine art print of Manitou now, and proudly display him in your home or office for a special price.  Please contact me for more details.    David Sweeney Photography.
